A Japanese online retailer and the PlayStation Store have revealed the retail price of Astro Bot and Concord, respectively.
Plus, a guide on how to find the first Special Bot, Lady Maria.
The developer of Concord, Sony's upcoming PlayStation 5 and PC hero shooter, has discussed how it will handle the game's monetisation - and why the game requires a PSN account log-in on PC.
I want to know what Sony did to become the great monster for secondary logins when EA, Ubisoft, Activision/Blizzard, 2k, and more have been doing this for over a decade now. Why don't I see any articles against the games from these other companies? Even Activision is not 'allowed' in regions and people have to use VPNs and foreign accounts to download and play those games. Why is there no criticism there? EA's required secondary login breaks Steam achievements and more for people. Where is the criticism?
You need a PSN account to log in to PSN and play with othe PSN users, not that you should anyway but it ain't that complicated.
God of War Ragnarok on PC will require PSN account but it doesn't on PlayStation. Why not? You can play GoDR offline on PS but not on PC due to PSN requirements.
PSN requirement on PC/Steam should only be a requirement if you want to crossplay with others on PS not a mandatory requirement on PC.
This is all about Sony trying to increase their PSN accounts artificially for investors, nothing more.
Why is it that this situation only applies to Sony when EVERY single other entity is also doing it?
I’m not trying to use whataboutism, but how come none of this is a thing when others are/have been doing it too…? Seems strange.
With upcoming PS5-exclusive releases pretty sparse, Astro Bot is exactly what the console needs right now.
My most wanted game, it looks phenomenal and takes me back to the good years of gaming.
Getting this day one. It looks amazing, just like Astro's Playroom but this time longer and better
$60 is a nice price.
60 is fair price
$60 is fine as long as there's substantial game length and it's full of content which based on the trailer from the State of Play I would venture to say it has both of those things covered.
I woulda paid $60 for the first one, definitely buying the second.
Better be a physical release, in fact, both games on one disc. Sure, Astrobot was free for purchasing a PS5 but, it's a digital copy attached to license agreement which means when services shut down, which we're about to see the Xbox 360 Store close entirely and we know how this game goes, so does everything with it. So, physical release ensures the immortality of games existence. And if you don't want to bother with retailers, fine, sell it on PlayStation.com or through Amazon. ITS A DISC not a SNES or N64 cartridge that were expensive. It's a $.10 disc
