The First Descendant Best Enzo Build

The First Descendant Enzo in the middle of supply arrays

The Quartermaster of Albion, Enzo is the ultimate support character. He provides Drone support and, more importantly, increases and replenishes his team’s ammunition. Skills like Fire Support and Start Supply deal with ammo, Explosive Drones is Enzo’s damage dealing Skill, and his “ultimate” Perfect Support does a bit of both. Lastly, Enhance Combat Suit helps him out by providing continuous Shield Regeneration, making him a surprisingly tanky character. So, read on to see what is the best build for Enzo in The First Descendant.

Best Enzo Build

Enzo is the walking supply pack of his team, able to keep his and his team’s ammunition supply full. That is extremely useful, since the most powerful guns have the least ammo, and players tend to keep them until the “perfect” situation arises. With Enzo beside you, you can let loose with these weapons as soon as things get dicey, without worrying that you’ll run out of ammo. With all that in mind, we can conclude that Enzo’s damage output does not stem from his Skills, but from his weapons. So, for offense, we should focus on that. Let’s see what is the best equipment for Enzo in each category: Weapon (and Weapon Modules), Descendant Modules, Reactor, and External Components.

Best Weapon for Enzo in The First Descendant

Since Enzo relies on his weapons to deal damage, you will need some that are effective on their own. The best general-purpose gun for Enzo is the Wave of Light Scout Rifle. This firearm fires special rounds each time you reload it, which reduces the enemy’s regeneration. Pretty useful against bosses and Collosi.

For horde clearing, the Thunder Cage is the top gun for you. Each eliminated enemy has a chance to “explode”, dealing further damage to everything around the target. With a way to replenish your ammo, you won’t have to hold back when using this Submachine Gun.

Lastly, the Restored Relic Launcher is an awesome heavy weapon for Enzo, able to occasionally fire Guided Rounds (60% of the time) that deal a ton of damage and set the target ablaze, applying a DoT effect.

Weapon Modules

Since Enzo’s damage primarily comes from his weapons, you will need Modules that improve weapons in various ways. Modules that improve the ATK of the weapon are an obvious choice, as well as those that increase the Fire Rate (since ammo is not an issue here), Reload speed, and Critical Hit Ratio.

The best Weapon Modules for Enzo are:

Weapon ModuleEffect
Rifling ReinforcementImproves weapon’s ATK
Fire Rate UpIncreases weapon’s Fire Rate
Consume MagazinesImproves weapon’s Reload Speed
MarksmanImproves weapon’s ATK and Critical Hit Rate
Action and ReactionImproves weapon’s ATK and Recoil
Better InsightImproves weapon’s Critical Hit Rate
Better ConcentrationImproves weapon’s Critical Hit Damage

If you are an accurate shooter, you can add Modules that improve your Weak Point Damage (like Weak Point Control and Weak Point Sight) and even some to further improve the weapon’s Accuracy (like Hawkeye)

Descendant Modules

Enzo does not need a lot of Skill Power, so Modules that reduce cooldowns and MP costs are a priority here. Additionally, since he’s more tanky than expected, some more defensive buffs would go a long way in keeping him alive and kicking.

The best Descendant Modules for Enzo are:

Descendant ModuleEffect
Increased DEFIncreases DEF
Increased HPIncreases Max HP
Nimble FingersReduces Skill Cooldown
Strong MentalityReduces Skill MP Cost
Skill Cost OptimizeReduces Skill MP Cost
Conservation MaximizationReduces Skill MP Cost at the cost of Skill Power
Skill ExpansionIncreases Skill Effect Range

Reactor

Even though Enzo does not rely on his Skill Power, a good Reactor is still important. First, all of his Skills are of Non-Attribute type, so you need a Materialized Reactor. Second, his Skills have either Singular (Start Supply and Perfect Support) or Dimension (Explosive Drone and Enhance Combat Suit) subtypes. So, you need a Reactor with either Singularity (for Singular) or Phase (for Dimension) in the title.

To summarize, the best Reactors for Enzo are either the Materialized Singularity Reactors or Materialized Phase Reactors depending on whether you lean more into the support role or prefer to get into the thick of it.

External Components

Enzo is already tanky, so External Components are great to buff that up even further. There is not much choice when it comes to Components (they are generated randomly, so it’s up to luck), but they all offer neat bonuses.

So, the best External Components for Enzo are those that improve HP Recovery, Max HP, DEF, and Max Shields.

Enzo is great to have on the team, especially for the damage dealers, like Freyna or Lepic, and with this build, you will be the glue that keeps the squad together.
