Fortnite is extremely well-known for all the amazing collabs they do, whether they are with real people, like J Balvin, or with entire franchises like Marvel or Pirates of the Caribbean. The players really enjoy the variety of choices and seeing their favorite character or real-life celebrity in-game. Now, some rumors and potential leaks claim that a new Fortnite collaboration is in the works and this one will especially excite the car lovers.
Some Leaks Claim This Collaboration is in the Works
You might have guessed it, but some rumors suggest a brand-new Fortnite X NASCAR collab is finally on its way. One account on X, SamLeakss, which specializes in sharing Fortnite rumors posted an announcement. It read: “NASCAR X FORTNITE! In 2025, they have “exciting plans to bring more NASCAR elements to the Fortnite platform”, according to a NASCAR Employee on LinkedIn. This includes Licensed Vehicles and New Racing Tracks”.
Now, none of this information was officially confirmed by Fortnite developers, but the players have faith that this collaboration is coming in 2025. Alphasilverhawk said: “So a long wait, but it makes sense that they would want NASCAR in the game. Still waiting for them to add licensed fictional cars tho. Not all that exciting getting real-life cars when there’s potential to get cool fictional and iconic cars”.
Another player, thatwitchguy, disagreed about the fictional cars. They noted: “I guess it’s the car nerd in me but I’m the opposite. I’d drop way too much money on old WRC cars or BTCC or hatches etc whereas most of the tie-in cars I’d want are just… real-life cars like the skyline”.
Players Share Their Expectations For Fortnite X NASCAR
Other players were excited by all the possibilities the Fortnite X NASCAR would open. A Redditor, tr00th, raved: “This could be interesting. NASCAR tracks in Rocket Racing and skins wearing those old NASCAR jackets we wore in the late 90’s would be great”. Uuddlrlrbastrat added: “If this is really happening, then we need a Ricky Bobby skin and everything that comes with it (ME cougar car, Shake and Bake emote, invisible fire emote, etc)”.
PS2EmotionEngineer noted: “There’s already a Rocket Racing map from them, Chicago Street Race. Looks like a track from NASCAR Rumble if you remember it”. Finally, slaptito, shared a great realization. They said: “Awesome. Fortnite can really collab with anyone they want now. It’s pretty much becoming the Oasis from Ready Player One at this point, all it’s lacking is an MMO mode”.
Although we adore cars, and we want to believe the leaks that suggest this Fortnite X NASCAR collaboration is happening, we are taking these rumors with a grain of salt. If you remember, in 2023, the leaks claimed Formula 1 was coming to Fortnite, but that never happened.
