While I enjoy HD2 it’s quickly becoming boring. There’s really nothing to achieve in the game other than escaping the planet. It needs something for players to go after to keep people coming back long term. I haven’t played in over a month and until I see some substantial content I probably won’t be back on anytime soon.

Exactly. The game could really use an end goal where players decide how to reach it. Major Orders have become the same pointless grind—'liberate planets for some medals or a stratagem.' Fighting for, losing, and then liberating the Creek after Automatons took over was both challenging and a lot of fun. We need more of that community-driven dynamic gameplay. Also, Arrowhead needs to calm down with the balance changes. Nothing kills online games faster than balance changes.

There is an end goal as the war does eventually end. Hence the statement about automation after the war. This basically means it will start over and be automated.

One thing I think they could use is more devs. Trying to provide enough content will a skeleton staff is absurd. They can afford it. The game grossed half a billion. Stop being cheap Arrowhead!

I still love everything about it, the gameplay is still supreme. Sure I don't play it as much but I'll do my 3 missions anytime I log in. With the added ship modules, at least I feel like I'm working towards something.

It's still fun after 100+ hrs in

I'm over 200 hours in and I'm still enjoying it but I would like to see new Factions already.

I have about 250 in the game. I do 2-5 missions a day usually The game needs more but it’s a small team and the game is fairly new so I’m fine with what’s there now as I know the game will evolve in the long term.

I put over 200 hours into it and now haven't played it in 2 months. There's nothing new or interesting to do. It's the same thing over and over. You can only launch the nuke 500 times before it gets old.

Is it because it's a Sony game that there are 100 articles every time a patch is released for this game?

No, it's just Videogamer and their shitty articles

Seriously, how do articles like this get approved? It's two quotes from Reddit.

Luc2018h ago

Written by AI for clicks. They don't have the talent to write anything interesting. When you see 'some gamers', 'gamer' etc in the title you know who wrote it

OMGitzThatGuy17h ago

Like Luc20 said, AI garbage articles from a website owned by the same trash corp that owns N4G so no form of moderation is done. They shouldn't even be allowed to post to here as it could just create conflict of interest in promoting that trash site over other more organic submitted works.

Or they could look at Helldivers 1 and/or any other game.
