The First Descendant roadmap for Year 1 is out, as Nexon pushes out compensation for players due to the game's first day issues.
The First Descendant is now available on PC, and here are the best PC settings for optimized performance on mid-end system specs.
The First Descendant is out on Steam and consoles. It is the next-generation MMO featuring the Unreal Engine 5 and its advanced lighting and geometric upgrades. Of course, there’s ray tracing for the higher-end PCs, but it’s complemented by frame generation (DLSS + FSR) to offset the performance drop.
One of the worst games I have played in awhile. Makes Starfield look like Skyrim. Terrible!
The First Descendant community supports a petition that would make the existing customization more fair. Do you agree with them?

The games is not good. The weapons are jank, the game stutters, the enemies aren't creative, the powers are derivative, the shooting is not cool, and the progression isn't satisfying. I said I would give it 20 hours, but I couldn't.
This game is like warframe and destiny 2 combined, however, after playing it a while you can begin to see that the core systems from the games it tries to mimic are much more refined than what was implemented here. The mod system from warframe is much more complex and offers more customization than what is here. Though it is too early to tell and it is possible that I may have to wait until I reach the end game to give a more informed opinion.
What I like about the game is that the visuals are good and the characters in the world are very easy on the eyes if you know what I mean without being weeb. The grappling hook mechanic is a nice addition to make traversal faster if you can master it.
I've been playing the game on PS5 and the performance is abysmal with framerates all over the place. There is not much improvement since the open beta they had last year, and it has me worried that the performance will never improve at that rate.
